Membership

There can't be Gujarati Samaj of the Capital District (GSCD) without members to support it. If you are a person of Indian origin, please join as an individual or family member. GSCD preserves and celebrates your culture and special festivals and events, and provides a forum for exchange of social and cultural views.

If you are of non-Indian origin, there isn't a better way to learn more about Indian culture, its people, and the country. We value diversity and appreciate the opportunity to share our heritage through multi-cultural programs and social events.

Membership dues help fund the many programs we bring throughout the year. GSCD is a window into India's cultural heritage — for you, for your youngsters, and for the local Albany community. It provides activities for adults, children, and senior citizens all year round: cultural, religious, and fun-filled.
